New Ford Galaxy

If you’re looking for a family-friendly MPV that can slip into your daily life with ease, the all-new Ford Galaxy has to be a firm favourite for those in need of optimum space.

Exterior

From the outside, the Ford Galaxy is sizable and domineering but in a classy and stylish way. It’s roomy and has a strong on-road presence without being displeasing on the eye. There are three trim levels available with the contemporary design being complemented by a wide selection of body colours such as Blazer Blue which comes as standard. Other options from the colour pallet include Frozen White, Chrome Blue, Shadow Black and the exclusive Ruby Red amongst others. Seventeen-inch alloys are available across the Galaxy range, but there’s also an option to go for 18-inch alloys if you decide on the Titanium model.

Interior

As a spacious and comfortable seven-seater available in the Wirral, the Ford Galaxy has a bright and airy cabin making road travel a breeze whether you’re ferrying the kids to school or heading off on a family adventure – luggage and all. Multi-contour seats are available upfront for optimum comfort and, as the middle row of seats can move backwards and forward – as well as recline – you can find the ideal seating position. The outer seats also tilt and slide forwards, providing easy access to the back row which is spacious enough for two adults.

With all seven seats in action, boot space remains at an impressive 300 litres. If you decide to fold the rear seats and convert to a five-seater model, there’s a whopping 1,301 litres. Use the front seats only and the Ford Galaxy becomes van-like, offering 2,339 litres of space.

Performance

Geared towards both comfort and fun, this MPV is a nippy performer despite its size. Easy to handle with light steering and superb stability – with the four-wheel drive option offering maximum control – the Galaxy is a great choice for intrepid explorers and adventurers.

The Galaxy also comes with a range of diesel and petrol engines including two EcoBoost turbocharged options. The 148bhp 2.0 TDCI is also a firm favourite thanks to its power and acceleration.

Technology & Comfort

Comfort is taken care of not only thanks to the space offered but due to climate control, with an impressive technology suite also providing entertainment as you travel. The Ford’s standout SYNC 3 infotainment system with voice commands is a real plus point, complete with an eight-inch screen that’s clear to see and intuitive to use.
